The Fridgecast: Episode 12 - Avengers Assemble!

Captain America, Iron Man, and co. are having a big year, not the least of which includes the biggest domestic opening weekend in US history.  After grossing $700+ million dollars (as of today; it was "only" $550 million at time of recording), Marvel's Mightiest Heroes have cemented their place in the pantheon of movie history. ...and, quite frankly, it was well deserved.

Dwight Tejano, Sean Sorensen, and Rob "Tek" Piontek assemble to talk about the incredible Joss Whedon flick, The Avengers: what we liked, what we didn't, where it's going, and why the Hulk stole every scene he was in.  We also discuss The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the animated series on Disney XD, and how it ties into the ever profitable film franchise.

Get ready, true believers!  It's the Fridgecast, episode 12: Avengers Assemble!  Oh, and for those who haven't seen the movie yet: SPOILER ALERT!

The Fridgecast: Episode 11 - Mass Effected

WE'RE BAAAACK!  It took a long long long long time, but we're finally back with a brand spankin' new episode of the Fridgecast!

The hotly anticipated conclusion to the Mass Effect trilogy came out back in March with Mass Effect 3, and we share our thoughts on the highly-rated and highly-hated controversial game.  There's been a ton of discussion about the game, and we're throwing our opinions into the mix.

The verdict is in, so what do our judges have to say?  The Honorable Dwight Tejano, Sean Sorensen, and Rob "Tek" Piontek preside.

The Fridgecast Episode 10 - The Fall Video Game Deluge

The summer drought is over!

After a lengthy stretch of time without any notable video games to play, Jay Imhoff, Sean Sorensen, Dwight Tejano, and Rob "Tek" Piontek are faced with a difficult challenge. With so many high-profile games coming up pretty much every week for the next 3 months, which ones are they going to buy?

Jay discusses his thoughts on the Modern Warfare's "Elite Pass." Tek can't wait to (re-)play Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition. Dwight really wants to be Catwoman, and Sean successfully found a way to knock all four of us off the internet. All this and more in a very special Clone High Fridgecast!

The Fridgecast Episode 9: Convention Post-Mortem

Ah, the summer winds down, and so do our schedules.  After a whirlwind summer, Kevin Tracy, Amy Mayrhofer, Rob "Tek" Piontek, and Dwight Tejano come together to recount and to regale about the biggest conventions they attended in the past month.

Kevin and Dwight (as I'm sure you know, since you've been keeping up with the blog, right?!?) take a retrospective look at their experiences from San Diego Comic Con International 2011.  Keeping their Red Shirts safely tucked away, Amy and Tek reveal anecdotes about their recent jaunt in Vegas for their first time at Creation Entertainment's Star Trek Convention.

Who was the person that made both Kevin's and Dwight's highlight reels from SDCC?  Why did Amy, a convention veteran, say that this Star Trek Convention was the best convention she's ever attended?  Find out the answer to these questions and more, as the crew takes a look back at the summer and prepares for the next convention ahead (watch out, New York: NYCC approaches!)

The Fridgecast: Episode 8 - SDCC 2011 and Geek Girls Network's Kristin Rielly

From the streets of San Diego, mere steps away from the front doors of San Diego Comic Con 2011, another party was happening.

And that party was the Fridgecast.

Kevin Tracy, Victoria Marsden, and Dwight Tejano welcome a very special guest to this podcast: Kristin Rielly, awesomesauce founder of the Geek Girls Network.

We discuss the weekend of craziness that was about to unfold, what not to do when meeting someone you idolize, and our new friend Rick's theories on child-rearing.

But more than that, we have a pretty kick-ass time together.

A million thanks to Kristin -- let's do this again in the future!
