'The Avengers' Trailer Debuts!

For many, Marvel's The Avengers is the most anticipated movie of 2012.  For some, the most anticipated movie of all time.  Due in May, the film's first trailer has hit the web.  Check it out below!

Directed by Joss Whedon, The Avengers finally brings together the Marvel superheroes who have been gracing theaters and inducing fanboy-gasms since 2008.  Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hiddleston, The Avengers is due in theaters on May 4th, 2012!

Our First Full Clip from Thor!

Marvel.com has given us our first clip from the upcoming Thor!

I love Thor stumbling around calling out for Mjolnir. It's like someone waking up too early from an awesome dream. It's also such a relief to hear that the Norse pronunciations won't be butchered. I'm pretty sure we have Branagh to thank for that! 

Thor is in theatres May 6th. Be there!

New Thor TV Spots Strike!

The folks over at Superhero Hype have posted up some high quality versions of new Thor TV spots that have apeared on the web in the past few days. I dont know about you, but May 6th can't come fast enough!

The God of Thunder Arrives

Kraka THOOOM!  You hear that?  That's the sound of hundreds of Marvel fans applauding.  Due in front of this weekend's TRON: Legacy, the first official trailer for Marvel's Thor hit the internet this weekend.  Yahoo Movies gives us a first look.

Similar to the footage shown (and later leaked) at San Diego Comic Con in July, the trailer has just about everything a fan expects to see in the film: Lavish Asgardian motifs, angry SHIELD Agents, Destroyer Armor, Hammer-to-the-face, and the lovely Natalie Portman.  

Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh and is due in theaters on May 6th, 2011.

If Ye Be Worthy...

Very few can heft Mjolnir, but Chris Hemsworth is one of those chosen few according to a new leaked photo courtesy of TheFanboySEO! There nothing not to love in this shot. First off, you can tell he is in the SHIELD tent and it looks like its raining on the inside. Second, Chris Hemsworth is huge and fits the part perfectly. Third, they dug out a pedestal for Mjolnir; how thoughtful! I can't wait to see what Comic-Con has in store for us next!

Paramount and Yahoo have finally given us our first look at Chris Hemsworth as THOR! Pardon me, I must go sing from the mountain tops of my joy that they didn't mess this up!
