NYCC 2013: Kyle Stevens Talks Kirby Krackle!

If you’re not listening to the music of nerd rock sensation, Kirby Krackle, you’re missing out. With such memorable tunes as Nerd Money, Booty Do Math, Cozy Pants O’Clock, and Ring Capacity, the Seattle-based band has tapped into every facet of geek culture, exploring comics, video games, television, and everything in between.

Leading the charge is frontman Kyle Stevens, a man who shares my affinity for the Emerald Light (see Ring Capacity) and is always happy to talk to The Fridge about what is going on in the KK world. With a new album released earlier this year, Kyle had plenty to talk about as we caught up with him at New York Comic-Con.

Sounds Like You is availabe now on iTunes and at Kirby Krackle’s homepage, Be sure to keep up with all the latest KK news by following them on Twitter @kirbykrackle and download their app for music, news, and upcoming appearances. And, just for fun, check out our interview with Kyle and fellow Krackler Jim Demonakos from Wizard World Philly from 2012 when we first met.

Rob is excited to be contributing to The Fridge. With one finger on the pulse of Marvel/DC and another on that of Hollywood's superhero franchises, no multi-issue arc or casting rumor is too small to report. When Rob opens The Fridge, the light inside shines green!
