NYCC 2012: Dark Horse Brings Us The Greatest Hero in the Mass Effect Universe

Commander Shepard.  The name brings pride to the universe.  The Spectre whose sacrifice ended the Reaper threat.

But who cares?  I mean, sure, he (she) is pretty great, but he (she) is old news.

There is one other Spectre who has stayed in Shepard's shadow for far too long, and Dark Horse Comics is finally letting us see the truth behind the tentacles in a digital one-shot.  As announced during New York Comic Con, we will finally know the story behind BLASTO: THE FIRST HANAR SPECTRE.

Blasto: Eternity is Forever, written by Mass Effect's lead writer Mac Walters and art by Omar Francia, is slated for release on N7 day (November 7th), coinciding with the release of the Mass Effect Trilogy on the Xbox 360 and the PC.

We are surely in for many, many awesome and over-syllabized one liners.  And I cannot wait.

Be sure to pick up the comic via Dark Horse Digital on November 7th, or else this one will be forced to expend a heat clip due to excessive weapon discharge into the frontal bone of your female progenitor copulating facial structure.
