Enter the Sorcerer Supreme: The First “Dr. Strange” Trailer Released

You guys. Doctor Strange. You guys!

I have been waiting for a live action adaptation of Stephen Strange for so long, and this looks amazing.

Doctor Strange marks Marvel Studios 14th (or so) film in the overarching Marvel Cinematic Universe, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the eponymous master of magic, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo.

While Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy lightly introduced the powers cosmic to the masses in their respective movies, Doctor Strange marks the first movie to deal heavily with the mystical forces of magic and extra-dimensional beings — and if I know my Strange, there’ll be plenty of that to go around.

I do find it a bit weird that Benedict Cumberbatch’s American accent for Dr. Strange could easily be interchanged with Hugh Laurie’s Dr. House.

Doctor Strange hits theatres on November 4, 2016.
