I hope your vision was clear when you reached the end. Sorry…couldn’t resist.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s unprecedented blockbuster. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton/Hawkeye), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) as they re-assemble to battle James Spader’s Ultron. Past MCU alums Don Cheadle (James Rhodes/War Machine), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon), and Paul Bettany (Vision) join the fight, and newcomers, Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver) round out the stellar cast.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1st, 2015.

Rob is excited to be contributing to The Fridge. With one finger on the pulse of Marvel/DC and another on that of Hollywood's superhero franchises, no multi-issue arc or casting rumor is too small to report. When Rob opens The Fridge, the light inside shines green!
