Adapting an existing work to film is never an easy task, but screenwriter Heath Corson never balks at the opportunity. Having already adapted Geoff Johns’s story for Justice League: War, Heath has no problem making the tales of the New 52 his own as the DC Animated Universe continues to head in that direction. With Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, the long-overdue spotlight feature for Aquaman, Corson injects his own brand of humor and enthusiam into the origin story of The King Of The Seven Seas as he learns of his heritage and joins up with the heroes of the JLA.
At New York Comic Con, we had the chance to talk with Heath about finally bringing Aquaman to the forefront, and what appraoch he took to bring Throne of Atlantis to the screen.
