NYCC 2013: Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer Talk Venture Brothers!

If you listened to our San Diego Comic-Con podcast, you’ll remember that we couldn’t throw a stick without hitting Venture Bros. co-creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer.  I have no idea why we kept running into them, but we did.  They meet hundreds of people at conventions like that so they probably have no idea who I am, but I feel like we’re all old friends at this point.  That feels like a fair, delusional assessment.

So, when we had the opportunity to talk with them at New York Comic-Con this year, I let our non-SDCC attendee, Sean, take point.  The room was a bit more crowded this year than in years past, forcing us to keep it short, but Sean took a few minutes to chat with Jackson and Doc about the now-finished fifth season.

The Venture Bros.‘ sixth season will begin airing in (UGH) January 2015.  And, just for fun, check out last year’s NYCC interview with Jackson and Doc. It’s still the funniest interview ever produced on this website.
