Preview of Arrow Season 2

I’m still amazed how good Arrow wound up being. What was initially thought to be a television rehash of Batman Begins turned into a great interpretation of one of DC’s more underrated heroes, bringing him and his adversaries down to “street level” while still acknowledging the source material.

With the premiere of the second season just over a month away, the CW has made the first video preview (not intially shown at Comic-Con) available online. Check it out!

Felicity let’s her hair down, litterally, DC heroes such as Black Canary and Flash are slated to appear, and the majority of the extended cast from season 1 are now among the regulars. Oh, and when I asked him if we would see Malcolm Merlyn again, John Barrowman himself responded with a subtle wink and a “maybe” at SDCC. I am officially excited.

Arrow season 2 premieres on Wednesday, October 9th at 8pm on the CW!

Rob is excited to be contributing to The Fridge. With one finger on the pulse of Marvel/DC and another on that of Hollywood's superhero franchises, no multi-issue arc or casting rumor is too small to report. When Rob opens The Fridge, the light inside shines green!
