SDCC 2013: Touring Sideshow Collectibles!

The artists at Sideshow Collectibles have been responsible for bringing icons from the worlds of comics, films, and television into fans’ hands for over 15 years. From sixth-scale figures to life-sized (!) busts, Sideshow is known for their extraordinary attention to detail and nearly lifelike creations.

At Comic-Con, Sideshow Collectibles’ booth has been a staple of the Exhibit Hall on par with DC and Marvel. Seeing the new offerings every year is always on my to-do list when I hit the con floor, as the gorgeous figures are always a sight to behold. The detail of each figure borders on ludicrous; my credit card trigger finger twitches with each new creation.

Sideshow’s Mike Tolentino was gracious enough to give us a tour of his favorite offerings at the Sideshow Collectibles booth this year from San Diego Comic-Con!

Be sure to check out their website for their current offerings. They are a little more expensive than your average toymaker, but the quality of their work exceeds the price you’ll pay (and they’ve got flexible payment plans starting at $25/month.) The biggest problem is finding a place to store it all!
