SDCC 2013: Nerdist News With CEO Peter Levin!

It’s no secret that Nerdist Industries is taking over the world. What started as Chris Hardwick’s humble podcast has since spawned: a YouTube channel, a podcast network, a daily geek newsletter, no less than three television shows, a live comedy stage, a yearly charitable initiative, and, as recently announced at Comic-Con, a movie distribution channel.

I mean, seriously, Nerdist Industries is taking over the world.

Thankfully, they’ve still got time for the little guy! Nerdist Industries CEO Peter Levin takes a few minutes to talk with me about the Nerdist presence at San Diego Comic-Con. We discuss Course of the Force and what’s coming out of Nerdist Industries in the near future.

Course of the Force has only just completed its second run (if you can believe it), but it has already raised over $100,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, making life better for terminally-ill children.  The power of a community of nerds channeled into one great cause – it’s flippin’ incredible.

Be sure to check Course of the Force next year if you’re ready to join up next July, and keep an eye on your computers, iDevices, and televisions for more from Nerdist Industries.

Thanks for chatting with us, Peter! We’re looking forward to the future of Nerdist Industries!
