First Trailer for New 007 Movie, Skyfall

After a hiatus that left the James Bond franchise in limbo for a short time, the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, is nearing completion. MGM and Sony Pictures have released the first trailer for the film, once again starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007. Check it out!

Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Jarhead), Skyfall stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph FiennesNaomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Tonia Sotiropoulou.

Skyfall arrives in standard and IMAX theaters on November 9.  


And come September, Bond fans should be on the lookout for Bond 50, the Blu-ray collection commemorating the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise.  Containing the first 22 films, the 23-disc, high-definition collection features 9 films previously unreleased in HD, annd 122 hours of bonus content, including two new featurettes, chronicling the history of the franchise.

The first, “The World of Bond”, takes a look at the style and attitude that is signature to Bond; pulling together the cars, the women, the villains, and the music that have been a staple of the films for the past 50 years. The second, “Being Bond”, profiles the six actors that have had the honor of portraying 007.
