Be On Smallville! (Sort of.)

If you happen to know me well, you’ll know that I’ve been a fan of Smallville since it started back in 2001.  It’s had kind of a significant impact on my life — moreso than any television show I’ve watched.  It’s had it share of good episodes (oh, so good) and bad episodes (oh, so bad!) but it didn’t matter — I’ve grown up watching it over the past 9+ years.

Now, I’ll get the chance to get my face in an episode through the CW’s “Believe in Heroes” Challenge!  (I suppose you could too, but I won’t feel bad if you didn’t.  Because then my chances would increase.  So don’t.)

Starting today and lasting until 12/20 at 11:00 PST, viewers (me and not you) will have the ability to record their own video testimonials addressed to the formerly-Red-Blue Blur for the possible inclusion in an episode airing in February.  Clark, at some kind of “emotional crossroads” according to the description posted on IGN, will end up watching the videos of all the people he helped inspire — no doubt giving him the courage to fight through whatever emotional trauma he’s suffering and become the hero he was meant to be.

All joking aside, it’s a great promotion and I hope they get a lot of videos from people who have been truly inspired by the man wearing the “S” on his chest.

For full details and instructions on how to submit your own video, go to the official Smallville page on the CW’s website.
